Watched Jason and The Argonauts the other night. it was great fun. Hopefull yI'll be doing a review for 60's Shockers, I think Darrell proposed book should be a goer.

The food poisoning was added to be a heavy cold. So I've not been out much. The stomach cramps have stipped, I just keep dozing off. I keep trying to do stuff, and I'll get one thing done but not the rest. Overall I feel tired but quite chipper.

I also have an interview for the job at Customs. Looks like you were right about the test Moods. I should not have worried so much.

Watched The New York Ripper. Nasty misogynistic film. Not one I'd want to watch in a hurry. I'd forgotten how nasty it was. I borrowed it of my sister. She doesn't have a high view of it too.


One one last note I finally broke my writer's block after a few years. It was not that i could not write, but never finish anything. With getting the review for The Blood Beast Terror finished off I finally broke through that barrier. I can feel the monkey's off my back. Hope Darrell likes it. The last thing I wrote was Mr. Hillsinger's Dinner. Not sure if that will make BHF book 3.

Started work again on Manchester transport. Although I am looking for something else.

The worrier is trying to move, she just feels down at work and thinks everyone is better than her, which I know is untrue since I work for the same place and you want to see some of the numpties you work for us. She thinks they 'will' cancel her contract in April, but I doubt it. Every year they have this crisis at work about how the work is drying up etc. And then they wonder why moral is rubbish and there is no loyalty.

At work a good friend maybe leaving, she maybe starting a cafe in Bridlington. So here's wishing her luck.

I'm now on the last Potter, it's better than the last, which was an improvement on the one before but I don't think the story suits the longer length. Have all the editors in the world died??

Saw my sister's brother in law in a band at the Academy in Manchester (In Club Academy downstairs if people know it.) They are excellent on their instruments, song a little weak but they are only about 16/17. Crikey did I feel old. They are a metal band called Crys and Whispers.

Things are getting by though. i even put a filing cabinet together the other day, hopefully I can get a another shelf done.

Well it's been an odd time.

Was attacked on my way home this Monday, a few punches in the head and a kick in the back, all for having a bit an arguement with my wife while walking home.

I've been reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Better than the last one. Hey up to date me. 

I keep going on the net and this and the BHF site keep crashing or going slower than a Sunday in the 70's. The rest seem ok.

I can't wait for the start of the Manchester's Festival of Fantastic Film. It looks better than last years already and I know the organisation can't be as bad as last year.

Well fingers crossed and I'll let you know.

My father in law is much better.

Nadia hates her job, to add insult to injury, she did not get the permanant post (17 went for 11 places.) of the 17 4 were famale and not one made it. A lad who has been there less than a year got a place, Nadia has been with the firm almost 3, 2 years at this job. One lass has been doing it for almost 4 years. Two of th lasses have gone on the sick. To be honest the whole thing stinks.

And tomorrow I'm off to meet a friend in Mnachster to get drunk, oh the joys of unemployment.

Plus spoke to my father in law and he's a lot better. Sounds weak still, after 5 major operations a few weeks ago who wouldn't. He's still in Lisbon but hopes to be back at his home by the end of the week.

Now must go and look at The Worrier in the bath. ;-) to make sure she's alright. Having watched The Nanny last night one knows you just can't be too careful.
